Discussed option to wean Lucy off Prednisone.
Kangen Water ? Stopped now. Vet says its not good for dogs or cats whose bodies are supposed to be acidic not alkaline. This contradicts the online water marketers... but most likley because they are just trying to sell the product?

Switch from Prednisone tablet to PREDNISOLONE liquid. 2ml x2/day
Gradual dose reduction begins today wean off the steroids if possible.
Prednisone dose was 25mg/day
First week of Prednisolone is now 20Mg/day.
2nd week will be 15mg
third week 10 mg
fourth week 5mg
and then we stop it altogether, so that the herbs and alternative treatments plus her own body immune system can kick back into fighting the cancer.

Lucy started to crash on Sunday night, at the new lowest dose. Exhausted, panting, pale skin and lips, hiding, shallow breathing. Increasing the dose back up brought about a recovery. I gave her three more 0.5 ml doses during the day to bring the day's total back up to the equivalent of 1.0ml twice a day.
